Here is the new Summer Getaway mini quilt. A fabulous quilt to decorate the holiday home in the Summer time, a memorable quilt to give another as a reminder of ‘good times’. A quick and easy quilt to stitch together on a weekend. The Summer Getaway mini quilt has everything that says Summertime. The fabric used is ‘Curiosities’ by Amanda Herring for Riley Blake Designs. Fresh Summer teal colours, side by side living coral colours to make the Summer Getaway quilt just right for Summer fancy decor.
I bought this beautiful fabric as a Layer Cake range from Sarah Kent at ‘Graceful Stitchers‘. Sarah sources delicious quilting fabrics as well as batiks, 1930s reproductions, and stunning florals.
The Summer Getaway quilt measures 30″ x 18′, and is easy to piece together. Pattern contains plenty of simple diagrams and step-by-step written instructions to complete the quilt top.
