Hi and welcome to Sew Blue Thread. Today, I would like to show you my latest quilt pattern. This ‘Point West’ Quilted table runner, has become another favourite of mine, just because it’s full of fun shapes heading in all directions.
With recent house moves over here, there has been little time to get the machine out, and sew. Instead there have been many days of filling boxes, moving, and unloading/unpacking again. A table runner is just what I need for a warm and cosy house.
This ‘Point West Quilted table runner’ has all the fresh colours together. I used 2 fat quarters (one light grey and one dark grey), and a charm pack, to complete the top of the quilt. I seriously was struggling for a ‘look’ when designing this pattern. I remember thinking, ‘where am I going with this pattern’. The more I stitched it together, the more I liked it. I especially like the little curious shapes in this quilt block.
The Point West Quilted table runner here uses the fabric High Tea Collection by Lecien from Quilting in the rain’. The quilt here measures 36″x 12″ and is fairly simple and fun to make. Instructions are easy with plenty of diagrams as well as written instructions to help get the block finished. You can find this Point West Quilt pattern —>here<—
So until next time,
Happy sewing
Marsha.
