Hi everybody. I thought I’d share with you what I’ve been working on. It all started with a fabric panel by Stacy Iest Hsu. The panel was a lot of fun to put together. I started with cutting out the border, and laying it aside, before cutting out the mini quilt within the panel. The front and back panel of the mini quilt was all included, it just needed some inside wadding. Instead of sewing the quilt and turning it inside out, I used the border print for the binding. Glad I did, as it gave the quilt a better look.
Following that, I made the cute pillow, then the Red Riding Hood doll (stuffed full of cotton balls), and lastly the wolf.
The doll skirt and cape with tie was pretty straightforward, as the panel gave full instructions on how to put the pieces together.
After all the panel fabric pieces were finished, the instructions panel was left, so that was sewn up into a bag. It just needed an extra white backing to finish the drawstring bag. The opening of the bag was made from the left over binding fabric.
A lot of fun.
